Project Overview

Miniorbits HMS is a compact, high-performance (mini) billing software and companion mobile application engineered for restaurants, cafes, food trucks, retail counters, and hospitality businesses. Designed for rapid transaction processing on phones, tablets, and desktop terminals, it features instant thermal receipt printing, offline-first data caching, split billing, inventory tracking, and end-of-day sales reconciliation.

The Challenge

Retail and hospitality businesses frequently struggle with bulky, expensive, and slow POS systems that fail when the internet drops, require expensive proprietary hardware, and make generating simple customer receipts and daily sales summaries overly complicated.

The Engineered Solution

We engineered a modern, ultra-responsive cross-platform billing application utilizing Flutter and Firebase, featuring offline-first local caching, seamless Bluetooth/USB thermal receipt printer integration, mobile tablet ordering, and automated daily sales analytics.
